Here in the cold climates, we tend to get spiders and all kinds of animals comming into our houses when the cold sets in. AND I live in a old house.

SO IVE BEEN noticing my cat jumping onto the counter a lot lately when Ive gone to sleep, and today I finally caught her and how intrested she seemed to be on that counter. I sneak towards her,and behold there sit a tiny mouse.

xD AND FINALLY AFTER A LOT OF chasing this bastard up and down behind my fridge and finally made it run out of there and under this other funiture which i had a long box laying, It captured itself. Not as smart xD but atleast I managed to rip the box and hoist it up so it couldnt run back out. WOOT time to go outside and let it back into the wild. FAR from my house.

hereis the bugger, it was lucky I was the one who captured it and not my cat. Shes just laying beside the box now hunting it jealously xD

Ive never really had a mouse inside before which stayed for that many days, im pretty sure its because of my bird who blow seeds all over, and it decided that it was enough food to find xD

ON ANOTHER NOTE 8D YAY POKEMON!!!! ...  oUo

Aww, that mouse is so cute. =D Good thing for it that you caught it first. The mice around my home are usually not so fortunate with 4 cats prowling the yard.

yup i live out in the country lots of house spiders coming in (which i don't mind)
looks like a wood mouse. my cat dragon would love to catch voles and slow worms once he caught blackbird and there was blood all over the kitchen...

well, if you don't like spiders, you should be happy to know that spiders hate peppermint. if you get some peppermint plant and put them around the house you probably wn't see as many.

Omg, looks like the sort of mouse that we had two of at one point :'D
My dad found them abandoned in a flower pot in a garden, they were so tiny<3 And we kept them because my dad didn't want to release them in case they got into the house or some of the neighborhood cats killed them xD

In my origin country(for as bad as it sounds) people usually kill those on sight.

If places are infested, it doesnt really help to set them free since it takes a lot of effort just to capture them and take them back otuside. They do ruin your home and food, which is a good enough reason for me that people can kill them by setting traps and so on. They breed like hell xD

we used to have mice when i was younger (only in the cold months) and i'd always play with them and hold them whenever our cat had found one.
surprisingly, i never got bit once.

So take the mouse FAR from the house but keep all the spiders in the house...  haha
You're awesome.

Also, looks like a wood mouse, otherwise known as field mouse, and they are primarily seed (from trees and other such) eating mice (as well as berries and small invertebrates).
And they are not AS active during the colder months as they are in the warmer months.
I think he'd definitely be safe in the wild though, considering he is a wild mouse.

The season of baby spiders and when the flies start hatching and annoying the shit out of us. Gotta love it. At my old house we had a problem with both bees and mice, the bees would live in our outside bbq and when they didnt the mice did. Found that my dog had caught and killed plenty of mice before we got rid of them all.

oh, I know how that is, had to catch a lot of mice when my cat was still alive :/
but I barely had time to grab a bucket, because our house is full of stuff where a mouse can hide, so actually I allways catched them with bare hands..
it is still better than having a mouse under the floor the whole winter and getting no sleep because of the noise.^^

but my cat used to catch all kinds of animals.. birds, bats, moles, lizards, have you ever had one of these?^^
I still miss her, but at this point it is good that our current tomcat has only one eye and is too lazy to catch things.. except for that one dormouse a few weeks ago >.<
but it climbed up the walls, that was kind of funny xD

so, be glad it was only a mouse ^^
(sorry if I'm babbling boring stuff.. I just like to talk about cats xD)

She used to take birds she captured inside, I usually took them from her and put them in a box to recover from shock and then let them back outside.

she once captured a big magpie that was playing dead, so I thought it was dead uptil I saw it blink xD

clever magpie xD
our cat was quite small so she only caught small birds, like sparrows.
but in contrast to this she was really brave, she even rescued one of our neighbors chickens from a big buzzard or hawk once, I was really surprised when I saw that.^^

Aww what a beautiful little mousey :iconiloveitplz: Thank god you caught it and not the kitty :aww:

We had a field mouse come in our house when we first moved in, it was quite funny, my mum kept screaming when it ran towards her :XD: I ended up catching it in a box as it tried to jumped, wild mice really aren't very smart x3 I was quite shocked by how big it was compared to my little domestic mice and how it was managing to climb up our walls :O_o:

The old house I used to live in was basically infested by mice, but then I got a cat, and they all mysteriously vanished xD
He still brings in some live ones every now and then. It takes FOREVER to get them back out :I
