I'm most likely going to recieve a trillion replies along the lines of "uHH SCUSE ME, HATER MUCH?????/" from everyone else that views this comment, but I'd have to agree with you. Personally, I like the design, but there is no way I'm paying 100 dollars to have it immediately nor am I going to bid something over $10. Yeah, the artist may need funding for something, but really. It's just nice to see someone else who disagrees with pricing on designs and doesn't just keep quiet about it for a change. </rant>
I find comments like these a little funny. This is Griff's art, she has the right to price the work she's spent her time and love on however she desires. But, hey, I guess you have the right to complain, though it gets you absolutely nowhere. Personally I won't spend money on designs, however inexpensive they are (maybe someday since I adore her work ) but others see them and have the money and decide that it's totally worth it. It's more than a little disrespectful to an artist when people banter on about their designs being 'to expensive'. It's all about manners and realizing that this is not your hard work. Not a 'hater' comment, just a lover of her work who is tired of seeing silly comments like this. Good day to you, though.
???? actually no you're wrong. as soon as someone creates something and publishes it, anywhere, for anything, and any reason, under United States copyright law they are protected. And it's DOUBLE on creativity-specific sites like dA and fictionpress for example. so if you've been doing stuff like taking others' work without crediting or anything, it might be in your best interest to stop.
If you want i can even give you links to gov websites proving my point. ive been through copyright drama too many times to not know my rights.
((also idk if english is your first language but your grammar is slightly off))
People can say they have copyrights about their works, creations or even ideas, but before the law you can't rightfully argue and say that such creations are belong to them, not without paying the copyrights, this may be Griffnuff's creations, but he/she can't sell them like propierties since he/she doesn't have any official ownership of any of this, the thing is this thing he/shes doing may be illegal.
Also, those colorful cat things are ugly, but that's just an opinion.
Look, I really don't want to argue on this person's work because it's distracting away from the art, but here's the bottom line:
You have LITERALLY no idea what you are talking about. If it was illegal to sell things without going through the US copyright process(which is mostly just used for documentation and is NOT NECESSARY), then deviantArt wouldn't even have a "Sell as Print" button. You are wrong.
I'm done arguing with you, if you want to continue to whine, do it privately. Thanks.
