yeah she wasnt this "nice" in the beginning, but its all about learning how to read the birds. Most people who have agressive females adopt them away, which is what happened to the one I have now, because they said they werent able to tame her. So I took on the challenge, and I will keep my word and make her uber tame xD I wont give ut, because I need the patience training anyway ^^.
I miss my budgie T.T He died last year. He was an old fart XD
He use to dance, and blow kisses! And he would always sing to my fingers XD Like where they hit their beak to something and sing and make lots of noise. He would do it to my nails (I assumed it was because their beaks are the same as our nails.)
He was. My sister got a budgie which we housed together. He ate and ate and ate because he wanted to feed the younger bird. My sister's bird couldn't receive the food fast enough so he got fat -3-
same thing happened when we got more birds (we didn't put them together in the same cage, but we let them out to play with each other - He really liked the pretty girl in the other cage XD and she REALLY liked him. Her siblings didn't really like her. So I thought it was magical @.@)
I actually got him from a pet store. He was sitting in the cage with all these younger birds. His cere was already blue. So I had to take him and not a younger bird XD He was pretty tame too. Got right up on your finger from the first day.
However, he had this problem where he nails grew too long. Even if we put in sandpapery perches, it didn't fix them. So we got my mother's friend who knows a lot about birds to help us clip them. OH BOY HOW HE HATED THAT. He was always mad at me for days after XD He would ignore me, and get angry if I tried to touch him or pick him up. Such a moody little thing XD But it was cute.
This reminds me of this one time at a bus station when I was a kid. I was feeding some peanuts to pidgeons and one of them 'tasted' my thumb first thinking it was the peanut before getting to the actual food. xD
