Hey I have a character and his name is fizz and I love him very much but if it's not too much to ask is there anything I can improve on him. its okay if you don't have time to reply and stuff but I was just asking thanks though savbomb.deviantart.com/gallery…
Design likes and dislikes are very subjective, so what you and others like might be different. But repeating colors helps designs so make the eyes the same green as the body and not yellow. and maybe the insides of the ears. The two greens are not my favourite combo, but that is just my opinion on colors xD
Okay then thanks ill try that! And actually for the eyes I actually I'd reuse colors though Cause that's the same yellow used for the lower body but the lower body is made opaque to look as if it's inside him... (Wow that's sounds weird). Since his species is based of a water ballon but thanks I'll try it out. ill see if I can find any other color combinations too
I was having really really really colorfull character...Also i changed it and then changed again and then again and now im working by my simple cute fennec mixed with african wild dog /still thinkink how to name the breed/ Ty for the tutorial!

;u; thank you so much for making this, this helped me very very very much-- i've been stuck on finding good character for a long time. This helped me step outside my comfort zone and do something different. you're a great inspiration!
Oh! And I have a question about the design of a new character I bought (she's #2 here.) I love her design but I feel it's a little too simple and I'd like to add a little more; I was wondering if you could give me a couple of tips. Thank you! c:
That would be awesome This [link] is her basic design and I honestly just feel like it's missing something. She's just so dull and boring and I'm just so unoriginal that I cant think of how to fix her XD.
8D I love those feet and that tail! Maybe you could give her some blue and aquablue colors? Maybe one eye could be that color and her nose and inner ears and try to add blue on the tail instead of the light cream? that could spice up her design ^^
You can do it the same way just make the list of things you want to keep the most so you know what you dont want to change, or you can just try to draw it as many times as you can as diffrent as you can :3
Hi, I've been wanting to make a decent animal character for a while but I'm having a tad bit of some trouble. I'm no good at drawing animals at all. I can't ever really get their bodies right. They look too lumpy or they look too skiny, something is alwaced placed wrong. So, I was wondering, in your opinion, what's the easiest animal body shape to draw?
I'd like to practice it a bit and perhaps after I'm good at it, change things and eventually have a good character.
So, if you don't mind responding to this, Could you tell me your opinion please?
It all depends on who draws them xD What is easy and not is all up to people, its never the same for everyone. Sit down and draw animals from photos, try to make them cartoony and not realistic as in the photo, try to get down the shapes and overdo them alittle. Do this to many animals and then draw them more and in diffrent poses
