Brian is a very exited and stubborn guy, he lost his horn from fighting with a crocodile, thats what he tells everyone, in reality he lost it from running into a huge rock. He is fearless until hes in actual danger, and is the reason why he got kicked out of the herd. So hes made a promise that he would find a place to fit in even if it was the last thing he would do.
Brian also loves to chase leaves or bugs and gets exited about feathers.

My belief that we did not to see the last of Brian. He completes the "Odd couple with Irving" and serves as a reminder what it is like being alive. The elder St Bernard just cannot continue keeping up terms of speed. He is better using his "gift" at home where his talents continue with safety.
