The way you do backgrounds (the simplistic ones) is so similar to the style in this old story-book I had when I was very little! You even use the same color schemes and line techniques! I loves it so much!
Can you go more in depth on the texture all the way down in a separate tutorial please? I'd like to learn more with the usage of different colors. This is really helpful, and I think it can help me with what I'm trying to draw.
Again, thank you so very much for these tutorials. It is just the artistic inspiration I needed to grow and learn. Now I'm more excited for my exams to be done and for thanksgiving weekend to begin! I can't wait to go out and put this to use in my sketch book, or just hop on the computer and play around with textures and coloring.
Oh, do you have any more tips on texture specifically? I'm very good at fabric and how it folds but texture is one of my weaker points.
I tested out really quickly and roughly (because as I mentioned, my tablet truly hates my computer) with my tablet then later mouse. It was mostly to see if I could understand the concept. I'm probably going to try better drafts later. But honestly, I did love the blending of the quick background I made! It wasn't on this account, but my ask Edd (since I love Ed Edd n' Eddy) [link]
Again thank you so much! Even though that was a really quick rough background, I learned so much!
ur welcome!!! I love ur characters and now i am going to make a cat/articfox/fix mix!!! What should i name it? Oh and its eyes are going to be sappire blue and hot pink! I think it'll stand out more that way...
I know!!!! How about Glacier?! Also I made another character that is part mouse parrot and wolf mix and its named moody.... all I have done is the basic sketch on paper and I will post it on deviantart later.... I think Glacier will have a look kinda like the character you made the second part of ur charater tutorial.... I am not sure how to explain it.... Sorry this message is long....
Ya like I am doing it totally different colors and The fins are different... Mostly has Artic fox like features.... Also sine i haven't even sketched her yet I am changing to a polar bear/ artic fox/ fish mix! I think thatll be more unique.
Halfway through reading this awesomely useful tutorial, I found myself gawking at your talent. Really, I envy you, and you totally inspire me to try hard and improve! Snuff, thank you for being ... you I guess d:
